چکیده
Additive manufacturing (AM) of customised vascular or peripheral stents is great potential for surgeons and patients, enabling the patients to have achieving better outcomes from stenting procedures, with further advantages having a resource efficient process. In this study, AM superelastic NiTi-based shape memory alloy (Nitinol) was investigated. Two stent designs, which are used treatment complex artery stenosis in lower limbs, were studied. Laser Powder Bed Fusion (LPBF) two designs studied investigate impact process parameters on geometry, strut size, structural integrity phase transformations. The study demonstrated successful manufacture Nitinol via LPBF, sizes range between 250 µm ? 560 µm. elastic modulus 56 73 GPa, matches well standard austenitic Nitinol. Chemical etching reduce diameter remove partially melted particles. It shown that laser energy input has vital role controlling Ni-evaporation subsequent changes transformation temperatures, as morphology stents. results reduced Ni-evaporation, maintaining austenite finish temperature at expected range, addition generating good build morphology.

a simple, rapid and low-cost scanner spectroscopy method for the glucose determination by utilizing glucose oxidase and cdte/tga quantum dots as chromoionophore has been described. the detection was based on the combination of the glucose enzymatic reaction and the quenching effect of h2o2 on the cdte quantum dots (qds) photoluminescence.in this study glucose was determined by utilizing glucose...
the effect of using visual aids on the development of speech act of disagreement among iranian intermediate efl learners
abstract the present study tried to investigate the effect of visual aids (films) on the development of the speech act of disagreement among iranian efl intermediate learners. to this end, the researcher selected 40 homogeneous intermediate learners based on their scores on oxford placement test. .the subjects then divided into control group and experimental group. both classes were tested by ...
Processability of high strength Aluminium-Copper alloys AW-2022 and 2024 by Laser Beam Melting in Powder Bed
Additive Manufacturing offers geometric freedom excellently suited for topology optimized light weight designs. Ideally these should be produced from materials of high strength to weight ratio such as aluminium-copper alloys. Yet these are considered unsuitable for welding. With Laser Beam Melting of Metals in powder bed (LBM), the only class of aluminium alloys widely processed is that of alum...

15 صفحه اولStudy of the Microstructure and Cracking Mechanisms of Hastelloy X Produced by Laser Powder Bed Fusion
Hastelloy X (HX) is a Ni-based superalloy which suffers from high crack susceptibility during the laser powder bed fusion (LPBF) process. In this work, the microstructure of as-built HX samples was rigorously investigated to understand the main mechanisms leading to crack formation. The microstructural features of as-built HX samples consisted of very fine dendrite architectures with dimensions...
